#### لاوی کا قبیلہ
The Levites were given a special function in Israel. They belonged to or were specially dedicated to serve Yahweh. They were to be priests, and because of this they were held to a higher standard than the rest of Israel. Only two of Aaron's sons survived because his other two sons offered improper sacrifices. اِسرائیل میں لاویوں کو مخصوص کام دیا گیا تھا۔وہ یہواہ کے تھے یا خاص طور پر یہواہ کی خدمت کرنے کے لیے مخصوص کیے گئے۔اُن کو کاہن ہونا تھا اور اِس وجہ سے اُنہیں اپنا معیار باقی اِسرائیل سے اعلیٰ رکھنا تھا۔ہارون کا صرف ایک بیٹا زندہ بچا کیونکہ دوسروں نے نامعقوُل قُربانیاں پیش کیں۔اُس وقت کے دوران اِس قبیلے کی بہت ذمےداریاں تھیں۔ (See: [[rc://en/tw/dict/bible/kt/priest]])
