مُصِنّف یہ وضاحت کرتے ہوئے اختتام کرتا ہے کہ کیوں اور کیسے یِسُوع اہم ترین سردار کاہِن ہے ۔ پھر وہ اس مُتعلق بتانا شُروع کرتا ہے کہ کیسے نیا عہد اُس عہد سے بہتر ہے جو خُدا نے مُوسیٰ سے باندھا تھا۔ (See: [[rc://en/tw/dict/bible/kt/covenant]])
Some translations set poetry farther to the right than the rest of the text to show that it is poetry. The ULB does this with the poetry in 8:8-12, which is from the Old Testament.
