خُدا نے داؤُد کا سامنا کرنے کے لیے ایک نبی کو بھیجا۔ اُس نے کہا کہ چونکہ داؤُد نے اورِیّا کو قتل کیا اب تلوار اُس کے گھر سے کبھی جُدا نہ ہوگی اور جو بچہ بت سبع سے پیدا ہو گا وہ مر جائے گا۔ داؤُد نے دُعا کی کہ بچہ جیتا رہے لیکن شیر خوار مٙرگیا۔ پھر بت سبع کو ایک اور بیٹا ہُوا،جس کا نام سُلیٙمان رکھا گیا۔ (See: [[rc://en/tw/dict/bible/kt/prophet]])
#### David's punishment
God sent a prophet to confront David. He said that because David had Uriah killed, there would always be killing in his family and that the baby conceived with Bathsheba would die. David prayed that the baby be allowed to live, but the infant died. Bathsheba then had another son, who was named Solomon. (See: [[rc://en/tw/dict/bible/kt/prophet]])
