+The words "in Christ" are used to talk about a person being connected to Jesus in a special way. This is because the person believes in Jesus. The person belongs to Jesus and will live with him forever (see: Romans 6:23). 
+
+Other words that have the same meaning as “in Christ” are “in Jesus,” “in the Lord,” “in him,” “in the Lord Jesus,” and “in Christ Jesus.”
