This can also cause that person shame or disgrace. * The term "dishonorable" describes an action that is shameful or that causes someone to be dishonored. * Sometimes "dishonorable" is used to refer to objects that are not useful for anything important. * Children are commanded to honor and obey their parents. When children disobey, they dishonor their parents.
