## He spaded it and removed the stones ##
The word "spaded" refers to using a tool to dig into the dirt to prepare it for planting. This can be translated as "He prepared the soil and took out the stones."
## choicest vine ##
"best vine" or "strongest vine"
## He built a tower in the middle of it ##
“He made a tall building in the middle of the vineyard to watch over it.” Someone would stand near the top of the tower to watch the vineyard and make sure that no animals or people went into it.
## built a winepress ##
A "winepress" is a place where the workers would step on the grapes to crush the juice out of them. This can be translated as "dug a pit to squeeze out the grape juice."
