Scholars use the word “rapture” to talk about the time when Jesus will take his people from the earth. Jesus will resurrect Christians who have died. He will give them new bodies. These bodies will not die again. He will also give new bodies that will not die to Christians who are still alive (see: 1 Corinthians 15:50-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
Les érudits emploient le mot « enlèvement » lorsqu'ils parlent du moment où Jésus enlèvera son peuple de la terre. Jésus réssuscitera des chrétiens qui sont morts. Il leur donnera un nouveau corps. Ces corps ne mourrront pas de nouveau. Il donnera aussi de nouveaux corps qui ne mourront pas aux chrétiens qui sont encore en vie (voir: 1 Corinthians 15: 50-54; 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18).
