The word "world" usually means the part of the universe where people live. It is the earth. In the Bible, the people who live on the earth are also called the “world.”

The word “world” can also mean something evil. In the Bible, evil people are called the “world.” Satan rules this “world” in some way (see: 1 John 5:19). However, God still rules Satan.
Le mot "monde" signifie normalement la partie de l'univers où les gens vivent. C'est la terre. Dans la bible, les gens qui vivent sur la terre sont aussi appelés le « monde ».
People think evil things and do evil things. These kinds of things are called “worldly” things (see: Jude 1:18-19). The “world” is everything that is opposed to God or fights against God (see: John 15:19; Romans 12:2; 1 Corinthians 2:12; Galatians 4:3; Ephesians 2:2; 1 John 2:16).
Le mot « monde » peut aussi signifier quelque chose de mal. Dans la bible, les mauvaises personnes sont appelées le « monde ». Satan en quelque sorte gouverne ce « monde » (voir 1 John 5:19). Toutefois, Dieu continue à avoir autorité sur satan.
