Dieu a un plan pour toute chose et chaque personne qu'il a créée. il utilise la bible pour enseigner les gens sur ce qu'il veut (voir Psalm 40:8;143:10.) Quand on fait  « la volonté de Dieu » ou quelque chose selon « la volonté de Dieu », nous faisons ce que Dieu veut ou ce qu'il a conçu pour nous de faire (voir: Éphésians 6:6; Colossians 1:10).
