"4": "And it happened that as he sowed, some fell beside the road, and the birds came and devoured it.",

"6": "And when the sun rose, it was scorched, and because it had no root, it was dried up.",
"7": "And other fell into the thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it did not produce fruit.\n\n\\ts\\*",
"8": "And other fell into the good soil, and it was giving fruit, growing up and being increased and yielding one, 30, and one, 60, and one, 100.”",
"9": "And he said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear!”\n\n\\ts\\*\n\\p",
"10": "And when he was alone, those around him with the Twelve were asking him about the parables.",
"11": "And he began to say to them, “To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but to those who are outside, everything is in parables,\n\\q",
"12": "so that looking, they may look, but may not see,\n\\q\nand hearing, they may hear, but may not understand,\n\\q\nso that they might not turn and it might be forgiven to them.”\n\n\\ts\\*\n\\m",
"13": "And he says to them, “Do you not understand this parable? And how will you understand all the parables?",
"14": "The sower sows the word.",
"15": "Now these are the ones beside the road, where the word is being sown, but whenever they might have heard it, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.\n\n\\ts\\*",
"16": "And in the same manner, these are the ones being sown on the rocky ground, who, whenever they might have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy,",
"17": "and they have no root in themselves, but are temporary. Then, tribulation or persecution having come because of the word, immediately they are caused to stumble.\n\n\\ts\\*",
"18": "And others are the ones being sown into the thorns. These are the ones who have heard the word,",
"19": "but the cares of the age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires concerning other things, entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.",
"20": "And those are the ones sown in the good soil, who hear the word and receive it, and produce fruit—one, 30, and one, 60, and one, 100.”\n\n\\ts\\*\n\\p",
"21": "And he was saying to them, “The lamp does not come so that it might be put under a basket, or under the bed, does it? Is it not so that it might be put on the lampstand?",
"22": "For nothing is hidden except so that it might be revealed, and nothing secret has happened except so that it might come to exposure.",

"24": "And he was saying to them, “Pay attention to what you hear. In that measure you use it will be measured to you, and it will be added to you.",
"25": "For he who has, it will be given to him, and he who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him”\n\n\\ts\\*\n\\p",
"26": "And he was saying, “Thus is the kingdom of God: As a man may throw his seed on the ground,",
"27": "and he may sleep and may be awakened, night and day, and the seed may sprout and may grow—how, he himself does not know.",
"28": "The soil produces fruit of its own accord: First the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head.",
"29": "And whenever it may have delivered the fruit, he immediately sends forth the sickle because the harvest has come.”\n\n\\ts\\*\n\\p",
"30": "And he was saying, “How might we compare the kingdom of God, or in what parable might we present it?",
"31": "It is like a mustard seed, which, when it may have been sown in the soil, being the smallest of all the seeds that are on the earth,",
"32": "and when it may have been sown, it grows and becomes greater than all the garden plants, and it makes large branches, so that the birds of the sky are able to make their nests in its shade.”\n\n\\ts\\*\n\\p",
"33": "And with many such parables he was speaking the word to them, just as they were able to hear;",
"34": "but he was not speaking to them without a parable, but by himself, he was explaining everything to his own disciples.\n\n\\ts\\*\n\\p",
"35": "And he says to them on that day, evening having come, “Let us cross over to the other side.”",
"36": "And having left the crowd, they take him with them, as he was, in the boat, and other boats were with him.",
"37": "And a great storm of wind happens and the waves were breaking into the boat so as to already be filling the boat.\n\n\\ts\\*",
"38": "And he himself was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion. And they wake him up and say to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?”",
"39": "And having been awakened, he rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Be silent! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.\n\n\\ts\\*",
"40": "And he said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you not yet have faith?”",
