  "4": "But they kept silent. And, taking hold of him, he healed him and sent him away.",
  "5": "And he said to them, “Of which of you will a son or an ox fall into a well, and he will not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?”",

  "7": "Then he was speaking a parable to those who had been invited, noticing how they were choosing the first places, and saying to them,",
  "8": "“When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not recline to eat in the first place, lest a more honorable than you may have been invited by him,",
  "9": "and when the one who invited you and him arrives, he will say to you, ‘Give your place to this one,’ and then you will begin with shame to take the last place.\n\n\n\\ts\\*",
  "10": "But when you are invited, go and recline to eat in the last place, so that when the one who has invited you comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, come up higher.’ Then there will be glory to you before all those reclining to eat with you.",
  "11": "For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”\n\n\n\\ts\\*\n\\p",
  "12": "Then he also said to the one who had invited him, “When you make a lunch or a supper, do not invite your friends, nor your brothers, nor your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and repayment happen to you.\n\n\n\\ts\\*",
  "13": "But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind,",
  "14": "and you will be blessed, because they do not have to repay you. For it will be repaid to you in the resurrection of the righteous.”\n\n\n\\ts\\*\n\\p",
  "15": "And when one of those who reclined to eat heard these things, he said to him, “Blessed is whoever will eat bread in the kingdom of God!”",
  "16": "But he said to him, “A certain man made a large supper and invited many.",
  "17": "And he sent his servant at the hour of the supper to say to those who were invited, ‘Come, because it is now ready.’\n\n\n\\ts\\*",
  "18": "And they all from one began to excuse themselves. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a field, and I have need to go out to see it. I ask you, have me excused.’",
  "19": "And another said, ‘I have bought five pairs of oxen, and I am going to try them out. I ask you, have me excused.’",
  "20": "And another said, ‘I have married a wife, and because of this I am not able to come.’\n\n\n\\ts\\*",
  "21": "And the servant came and reported these things to his master. Then becoming angry, the master of the house said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here the poor and crippled and blind and lame.’",
  "22": "And the servant said, ‘Master, what you commanded has happened, and there is still room.’\n\n\n\\ts\\*",
  "23": "And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the roads and hedges and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled.",
  "24": "For I say to you that none of those men who were invited will taste of my supper.’”\n\n\n\\ts\\*\n\\p",
  "25": "And large crowds were journeying with him, and he turned and said to them,",
  "26": "“If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters and also even his own life, he is not able to be my disciple.",
  "27": "Whoever does not carry his cross and come after me is not able to be my disciple.\n\n\n\\ts\\*",
  "28": "For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost—whether he has for completion?",
  "29": "Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it will begin to mock him,",
  "30": "saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’\n\n\n\\ts\\*",
  "31": "Or what king, going to fight with another king in war, will not sit down and first determine whether he is able with 10, 000 to meet the one coming against him with 20, 000?",
  "32": "But if not, while he is still far away, sending a delegation, he asks the things for peace.",
  "33": "In the same way, then, every one of you who does not renounce all the things that he himself possesses is not able to be my disciple.\n\n\n\\ts\\*",
  "34": "Salt then is good, but if the salt indeed is made tasteless, with what will it be seasoned?",
