"3": "But this is eternal life: That they would know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.",

"4": "I glorified you on the earth, having completed the work that you have given me so that I might do it.",

"5": "And now, Father, glorify me along with yourself with the glory that I had with you before the world was made.\n\\ts\\*",

"6": "I revealed your name to the men whom you gave me from the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.",

"7": "Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you,",
|
|
"8": "for I have given them the words that you gave me, and they received them and truly knew that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.\n\\ts\\*",

"9": "I ask on behalf of them. I do not ask on behalf of the world but on behalf of those whom you have given me, for they are yours.",

"10": "And all that is mine is yours, and what is yours is mine, and I am glorified in them.",

"11": "And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me so that they would be one, just as we are one.\n\\ts\\*",

"12": "While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. And I protected them, and not one of them was destroyed, except for the son of destruction, so that the scriptures would be fulfilled.",

"13": "But now I am coming to you, and I am saying these things in the world so that they would have my joy fulfilled in themselves.",

"14": "I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not from the world, just as I am not from the world.\n\\ts\\*",

"15": "I do not ask that you would take them away from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one.",
|
|
"16": "They are not from the world, just as I am not from the world.",
|

"17": "Sanctify them by the truth. Your word is truth.\n\\ts\\*",

"18": "Just as you sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.",
|
|
"19": "And for their sakes I have sanctified myself, so that they themselves may also be sanctified in truth.\n\\ts\\*",

"20": "But I ask not only on behalf of these, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their word",
|
|
"21": "so that they would all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I am in you, so that they also would be in us, so that the world would believe that you have sent me.\n\\ts\\*",

"22": "The glory that you gave me, I also have given to them, so that they would be one, just as we are one:",
|
|
"23": "I in them, and you in me—so that they may be made complete as one, so that the world may know that you sent me, and you loved them just as you loved me.\n\\ts\\*",

"24": "Father, those you have given me, I desire that they also may be with me where I am, in order to see my glory, which you gave me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.\n\\ts\\*",

"25": "Righteous Father, even the world did not know you, but I know you; and these know that you sent me.",
|
|
"26": "And I made your name known to them, and I will make it known so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”\n\\ts\\*",
