Вақте ки Элисобаъ шашмоҳа ҳомиладор буд, ҳамон фаришта ногаҳон ба як хеши Элисобаъ, ки Марям ном дошт, омад. Марям бокира буд, ки бо марде Юсуф ном дошт дар никоҳ буд. Фаришта гуфт: "Ту ҳомила шуда, Писар таваллуд мекуни. Ӯро Исо ном мон. Ӯ Писари Худои Таоло хоҳад буд ва то абад ҳукмрони хоҳад кард".
