**Particles** are small words which do not fit into any other category

|
of parts of speech and do not decline. They typically lacking conceptual
|
|
content but rather express an emotion or way of thinking. They are often
|
|
used for negation (*not*) or emphasis (*amen* or to indicate a
|
|
transition in topic (sometimes not translated).
