"6": "Therefore, say to the sons of Israel, ‘I am Yahweh. And I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rescue you from their slavery. And I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments. ",

"7": "And I will take you to myself as a people, and I will be to you as God. And you will know that I am Yahweh your God, the one bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. ",

||
"8": "And I will bring you to the land that I raised my hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. And I will give it to you as a possession. I am Yahweh.’”\n\\p\n\\ts\\* ",

"9": "And Moses spoke in this way to the sons of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses because of shortness of spirit and because of hard slavery.\n\\p\n\\ts\\* ",

"10": "And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, ",

"11": "“Go speak to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, that he should let the sons of Israel go from his land.”\n\\p ",

"12": "And Moses spoke before the face of Yahweh, saying, “Behold, the sons of Israel have not listened to me, so how will Pharaoh listen to me? And I have uncircumcised lips.”\n\\p\n\\ts\\* ",

"13": "And Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and he gave them a command to the sons of Israel and to Pharaoh, king of Egypt: to bring the sons of Israel out from the land of Egypt.\n\\p\n\\ts\\* ",

"14": "These were the heads of the houses of their fathers: \\p\nThe sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Hanok, and Pallu, Hezron, and Karmi. These were the clans of Reuben.\n\\p ",

"15": "And the sons of Simeon were Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jakin, and Zohar, and Shaul—the son of a Canaanite woman. These were the clans of Simeon.\n\\p\n\\ts\\* ",

"16": "And these are the names of the sons of Levi, from their genealogy: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Levi were 137 years. ",

"17": "The sons of Gershon were Libni and Shimei, according to their clans. ",

"18": "And the sons of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel. And the years of the life of Kohath were 133 years. ",

"19": "And the sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. These were the clans of the Levites, according to their genealogy.\n\\p\n\\ts\\* ",

"20": "And Amram took Jochebed, his aunt, as a wife for himself. And she bore him Aaron and Moses. And the years of the life of Amram were 137 years.\n\\p ",

"21": "And the sons of Izhar were Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri. ",

"22": "And the sons of Uzziel were Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.\n\\p\n\\ts\\* ",

"23": "And Aaron took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, as a wife for himself. And she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.\\p ",

"24": "And the sons of Korah were Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph. These were the clans of the Korahites. ",

||
"25": "And Eleazar, son of Aaron took a wife for himself from the daughters of Putiel. And she bore him Phinehas. These were the heads of the fathers of the Levites, according to their clans.\n\\p\n\\ts\\* ",

"26": "It was Aaron and Moses to whom Yahweh said, “Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts.” ",

"27": "They were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt. It was Moses and Aaron.\n\\p\n\\ts\\* ",

"28": "And it happened on a day that Yahweh spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt. ",
