## Messiah Will Rule Forever [21-08] ##

|
|
A __king__ is someone who rules over a __kingdom__ and __judges__ the people. The __Messiah__ would be the perfect king who would __sit on the throne__ of his ancestor __David__. He would reign over __the whole world__ forever, and would always judge honestly and make the right decisions.

This expression could also be translated as, "have the authority to reign as his ancestor King David did" or, "be the descendant of King David and continue his rule over God's people."
