Many of the people had not purified themselves and ate the Passover meal against the written instructions. So Hezekiah prayed for Yahweh to pardon those who set their hearts to seek God, although they were not purified by the standards of the sanctuary.
Многие из народа Ефрема, Манассии, Иссахара и Завулона не подготовились правильно и отмечали Пасху не так, как написано в законе. Поэтому Езекия помолился Яхве, чтобы Он простил тех, которые искренне хотели поклоняться Ему, но не очистились в соответствии со стандартами закона.
