Süleyman, müdrik olmasına baxmayaraq, Allaha itaətsizlik etdi. O, Allahın qadağan etməsinə baxmayaraq, yad xalqlardan olan qadınlarla nigah bağladı. Bu qadınların çoxu özləri ilə birgə allahlarını da gətirmişdilər və onlara sitayiş edirdilər. Süleyman qocalanda, o da həmin allahlara sitayiş etməyə başladı.
