Musa və Harun bir-neçə dəfə fironun yanına gəldilər, lakin firon hər dəfə xalqı buraxmaqdan imtina edirdi. Buna görə Allah Misirin üzərinə on dəhşətli bəla göndərdi. Bu bəlalar vasitəsilə Allah fironu cəzalandırdı. Beləcə ona və bütün Misirə göstərdi ki, O, firondan və bütün Misir allahlarından böyükdür.
