# Whoever has ears to hear
This is a way of referring to everyone there who was hearing what Jesus was saying. AT: "Whoever can hear me" or "Everyone who can hear me (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-idiom]])

Here the word "hear" means to pay attention. AT: "let him listen carefully" or "must pay careful attention to what I am saying" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metonymy]])
