Аарон із золота зробив ідола, який мав вигляд теля. І народ почав завзято поклонятися ідолу і приносити йому жертви. За цей гріх Бог дуже розгнівався на народ. Він сказав Мойсею, що хоче знищити їх. Але Мойсей помолився Богу, щоб Він зберіг життя народу. І Бог почув його молитву і не вбив людей.
