I added the reason for saying anything about poetry vs narrative. I tried to clarify the tense issues: past events vs. descriptions of things seen in a vision or dream vs. predictive past. I made the issue about whether or not prophecies have been fulfilled yet a separate issue. I added the translation issue about distinguishing regular past from predictive past. I added a principle concerning translating tense and a principle concerning prophecies and their fulfillment. I added examples of ordinary past tense in prophetic writing and predictive past. (This was to clarify that past tense in these books is not all predictive past. Some is ordinary past.) |
