Both of these phrases refer to a person who allows himself to say evil things.  AT: "With your mouth you say evil things, and with your tongue you express deceit" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-synecdoche]] and [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-parallelism]])

## speak against your brother...slander your own mother’s son ##
